OUR PROJECT
At Equip a Child Foundation, our work is centered around four core initiatives designed to impact lives holistically—through education, empowerment, and community transformation. Each project reflects a deep commitment to raising a generation of equipped, confident, and purpose-driven children and youth.
Love Beyond Borders Initiative
Love Beyond Borders is our community-focused outreach initiative. Under this project, we identify and adopt vulnerable communities—especially those in hard-to-reach or crisis-affected areas (including IDP camps). Our aim is to build trust, bring hope, and provide long-term impact in these areas.
Our interventions include:
- Empowering children and families within adopted communities
- Providing access to food, clothing, health care, and learning opportunities
- Setting up temporary or permanent learning centers for children
- Building structures such as orphanages or safe homes for displaced children
- Bringing consistent love and presence where it’s needed most.
Love Beyond Borders is not a one-time event. We revisit communities until they are stabilized and self-sufficient. The outreach can happen multiple times a year, depending on available resources.
Project TREY
Project TREY is our youth-focused initiative designed to equip young adults with sustainable skills that lead to economic independence and personal growth. Through hands-on vocational training and mentorship, we prepare them to thrive in today’s world.
Key areas include:
- Vocational Skills Training: We offer practical, hands-on training in skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, baking, shoemaking, plumbing, and other income-generating crafts.
- Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy:
Participants are trained in budgeting, saving, business management, and financial independence to help them build a future beyond dependence. - Career Readiness:
We provide mentorship, career guidance, and empowerment sessions to help youth set goals, develop leadership, and become responsible change-makers.
Enrollathon
Enrollathon is our annual back-to-school campaign focused on enrolling out-of-school children and supporting students for the new academic session. It is one of our most significant yearly campaigns.
The campaign process includes:
- Running donation drives from June to August
- Distributing back-to-school packs (bags, books, uniforms, socks, shoes, stationery)
- Paying school fees and covering tuition for students in both public and private schools
- Enrolling new learners into schools in September
- Supporting students across other terms throughout the academic year.
Enrollathon is all about making education possible for every child—no matter their background.
Abrahamic Scholarship
This is our merit- and need-based scholarship initiative designed to support academically gifted or financially disadvantaged children. Through this program, we cover full or partial tuition fees, provide uniforms, books, and mentorship, ensuring no brilliant child is left behind because of poverty.
We believe in raising intellectual giants who will go on to lead and serve with excellence in their various spheres. Each scholarship comes with continuous academic monitoring and emotional support.
